CUSTOMER BOOKING POLICY

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions that apply when you make a booking via www.treeofsilence.com. Please read this Policy carefully before making a booking from the site. By making a booking you will be agreeing to all of its terms and conditions.

OUR STATUS

  1.  We are Tree of Silence a company registered in England and Wales under number 10636919 whose registered office is at Room 3506, Chynoweth House , Trevissome Park, Truro, TR4 8UN with email info@treeofsilence.com (the Supplier or TS or us or we).

MAKING A BOOKING

  1. You are responsible for making all the arrangements necessary to use the TS website.
  2. When you make a booking through the website, you are offering to pay for the booking specified in your order. All bookings are subject to availability and orders are subject to acceptance by TS. Where TS accepts an order, it will confirm your purchase by email, sent to the e-mail address you entered when making your order.
  3. Once purchased, bookings can be transferred but cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned except in the circumstances set out in the Refunds section below.
  4. If you wish to transfer your booking please see the transfers section below.
  5. In order to prevent fraud and to protect both parties, you may be asked to provide additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase. This information may be requested via phone, e-mail or in person upon entering the event.

FEES AND PAYMENT

  1. The fee for an individual booking is set out on the booking form when you make your booking.
  2. There is no VAT applicable to the booking cost.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

  1. TS will deliver the booking confirmation and details to the e-mail address given by you when you placed your order. It is your responsibility to let us know of any change of contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of your confirmation. Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers booking online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address.
  2. Once you have recieved your confirmation email please check the booking details and let us know of any mistakes immediately. If we are repsonsible for the mistake we will do all we can to rectify it (see also "Refunds" below). We cannot guarantee to rectify mistakes made by you (for example if you entered the wrong details).
  3. If confirmation emails are returned to TS as "invalid email address", we reserve the right to cancel your order.
  4. Please bring a copy of the confirmation email when you come to the event.

REFUNDS

Refunds due to problems with the event
You will only be entitled to a refund if:

  1. The event is cancelled;
  2. The event is moved to another date;
  3. Details of the event are significantly changed after you purchase your tickets, e.g. a change of retreat leader or venue.
    In these circumstances, TS will refund the full booking cost. Please note, however, that it is your responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and TS cannot guarantee that we will inform you of any changes to the event date, time or venue.

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE

All refund requests must be sent to TS (by email) no later than two weeks after the date of the event. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests received after that period.

TRANSFERS

If you have made a booking and wish to transfer it:

  1. Please send an email from the address you originally entered when making your booking, giving the names of the people you wish to transfer the ticket(s) to and the order number for the booking (stated on the email confirmation).
  2. You need to send the email at least two days before the event.
  3. TS will then send a confirmation email for the booking transfer. 

ADMISSIONS TO EVENTS

  1. Rules of admission to events are determined by TS and venues, which may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account. Entry procedures may from time to time include security searches.
  2. When you arrive at the venue for the event, please bring some personal ID with you that matches the booking name in case we need to check your details on entry, as well as the email confirmation you received for the booking. TS reserves the right to deny access to people arriving without personal ID in the booking name or the confirmation email.
  3. You and your guests will not be entitled to a refund if you or refused entry or ejected from a venue due to your late arrival, being (or appearing to be) under age*, or because you have broken the rules of the venue (e.g. declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings).
  4. You and your guests are responsible for your own safety and for the security of your belongings whilst attending (and travelling to and from) events. TS can accept no responsibility for any death, injury or illness suffered by you or your guests (unless caused by our negligence), nor for any damage to or loss of your possessions, whilst attending (or travelling to or from) events.
